I wish...

... that instead of driving husband to Taunton on Monday, so he could go to London, and I could go to ballet, that we had driven the other direction instead. That instead of work and scouts and more work that we could have spent the week on the beach, or picking and collecting wonderful ingredients, or sleeping in a yurt with a wood burning stove, or exploring harbours. Or just, you know, being on honeymoon. That would be nice.

All photos by me (except the bottom one, which is by husband). Mousehole, St Ives, Charlestown, Kynance Cove. If you were wondering.

Yes! Honeymoons should be an annual event.

Beautiful. And yes. Here's hoping we can all squeeze in a bit of honeymooning/holidaying very soon!

Did you honeymoon in St. Ives? We did and loved it... and Mousehole too. So thank you for bringing back my honeymoon memories too....

We honeymooned in Cornwall - Port Isaac for one week in a fisherman's cottage and then in a yurt at Botolet, near Fowey, for the second. We spent M's birthday in a teeny hotel in St Ives and went for supper in Mousehole before the Minack theatre. I love St Ives - my favourite sculpter is Barabara Hepworth (post on that coming next week) and I always have to visit her garden. *sigh* Roll on August and returning to Cornwall.

Where did you stay for yours Rachel?
